Chinese gum rosin (different species)

Tree species:
- Pinus Massoniana
- Pinus Elliottii
- Pinus Yunnanensis

Chinese Gum Rosin (CGR) is a natural resin extracted from certain species of pine trees found in China, primarily from the Pinus Massoniana, Pinus Elliottii, and Pinus Yunnanensis trees. It is obtained through a process called tapping, where cuts are made in the tree's bark to allow the resin to flow out. Once collected, the resin undergoes processing to remove impurities and excess moisture, resulting in the final product known as gum rosin.

CGR is widely used in various industries due to its adhesive and binding properties. It serves as a key ingredient in the manufacturing of adhesives, chewing gum, coatings, inks, rubber, and certain types of plastics. Additionally, it is utilized in the production of varnishes, paints, and other chemical products.

The quality and characteristics of CGR can vary depending on factors such as the species of pine trees, the region of origin, and the processing methods employed. However, CGR is generally known for its high quality and is widely traded in the global market.
